We are searching for a seasoned General Manager of FMCG Division, who is a critical member of the Group/Global Management Team.
The General Manager – FMCG Division is a strategic leader responsible for managing the full P&L of our FMCG business operations. The role needs to drive sales growth and market share in a healthy and profitable way, leads to build strategic partnerships and relationship with top customers and through distributor network, and develop critical organization capabilities and talents in Group.

The General Manager – FMCG Division is a strategic leader responsible for managing the full P&L of our FMCG business operations. The role needs to drive sales growth and market share in a healthy and profitable way, leads to build strategic partnerships and relationship with top customers and through distributor network, and develop critical organization capabilities and talents in Group.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement mid-term and short-term strategic plans to grow the businesses, including market expansion and penetration, product innovation, and customer acquisition.
- Leads team to deliver short-term and long-term business KPIs and results (revenue, margins, profits) for the entire Division.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entries.
Business Development:
- Drive new production development to ensure Group leadership and competitiveness industry particularly in the premium product range.
- Drive effective route-to-market strategy so as to build cohesive relationship with customers and drive penetration of Group product to valuable customers/consumers.
- Drive effective marketing solutions to enhance brand cohesiveness to customers and consumers.
Financial Management:
- Monitor financial performance and P&L of total business Division, ensuring key business KPIs (revenue, costs, margins, and profitability) meet company budgets.
- Manage budgets, forecast future financial needs, and ensure effective use of resources.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends, make informed decisions, and recommend improvements.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Implement customer-centric strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Gather customer feedback and use it to improve products, services, and overall business performance.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the business, including sales, marketing, R&D (on solid line basis), production, planning and procurement (on dotted line basis).
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality control, and regulatory standards.
Team Leadership:
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to drive individual and team growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of management experience in branded consumer goods industry, with at least 5 years in leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and increasing profitability.
- Excellent people leadership skills. Able to command senior staff, upgrade organization capabilities, efficiency and effectiveness, strengthen talent pipeline.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
- A highly energetic individual, customer-oriented and drive for results.
- Have strong presence and unquestionable creditability. Able to work collaboratively across departments and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
