Role Summary
HR Manager China has an overall responsibility of HR services in China. She/ He works closely with China management team in setting up the functional teams in China, and in supporting strategy execution and ensuring that HR processes and policies are implemented well and in compliance. 

Key responsibilities
• Partners with local functional leaders by coaching and supporting them in talent acquisition, C&B, organization development and HR operations related areas.   
• Supports local business leaders on implementation of HR processes and tools locally ensuring common and aligned approach and effective adaptation.
• Run recruitment function to complete talent attracting, screening and staffing jobs / assignments according to company policies so as to supply talent and manpower with quality, speed and quantity so that the recruitment process is conduced efficiently; job vacancies are timely filled and the candidates selected  best match the needs of the position.
• Plan, organize, implement and review entire recruitment process to optimize recruiting practice by balancing effectiveness and efficiency. These activities include but not limited to advertising, interviewing, and assessment, ranking and selecting candidates; check reference and negotiation employment offers. Also promote an employer’s image and values through social media and other communication formats.
• Maintain and report staffing information e.g. JD, recruitment report and market situation, etc. so as to provide systematic analysis and constructive proposal for management decision making.
• Designing C&B policy and procedure in line with organization and HR strategy; build proper C&B System, optimizes and implements policies.
• Involve in designing and implementation of incentive plans for the organization and engage the employees for the better performance.
• Support on merit increases review & bonus program, sales commission, incentive program
• Responsible for local culture and leadership development activities according to company Functional plans.
• Responsible for annual local HR roadmap, annual cycle and initiative planning and owns the HR budget and cost awareness on a country level.
• Responsible for remuneration and HR related cost planning, budgeting and forecasting, and providing meaningful analysis report indicating remuneration cost drivers and variance factors
• Responsible for country specific policies, guidelines, processes, local agreements and HR systems to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, and to ensure that HR policies and practicalities in use serve the business in an optimum way.

Requirement
• Bachelor degree or above, over 8 years working experience, pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Hands-on experience and know-how of relevant HR processes, attention to details
• Good collaboration and communication skills and ability to interact and influence effectively in all levels of the company
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English 
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, a curious demeanor, and an interest in improving operational efficiencies and processes within the team
• Proven capacity to develop and maintain successful stakeholder relationships across the various functions
• Interest and passion to work within a fast-paced startup environment
• Desirable - Previous experience in a startup would be beneficial.
