The Role:
We’re looking for a talented Supply Chain head of China, to manage and optimize its rapidly complexifying supply chain. As Supply Chain head, you will be responsible for an overall effective distribution of sellable products and GWP, through monitoring, coordination and good communication with Logistics Service Providers, Customers, Supply Chain organization and stakeholders involved. You achieve and exceed bottom line targets while supporting business growth by implementing functional plans, and recommending programs for business improvement in Supply Chain Organization.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting and Stock Management
    • Well communicate with US forecasting team to do annual budget for products to align with company business plan and strategy. 
    • To be together with the brand marketing, field sales and E-commerce team to create the best possible sales forecast based on insight from Sales trends, strength of products, marketing activities and promotions through a monthly structured sales and operations planning process (S&OP).
    • Deliver sales forecast for rolling 18 months horizon at designated accuracy.
    • Work with Sales team to manage the product age, optimize the cost caused by slow moving stocks.
    • Lead direct reports and partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into company business.
  • Logistics and Warehouse Management
    • Direct, manage and coordinate all logistics, warehouse and transportation activities.
    • Develop methods and procedures for scheduling of finished goods from US to support customer demand and minimize cost impact
    • Manage and achieve the overall logistics department budget
    • Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials. Work with 3rd party and US NPD team to support the HP progress.
    • Manage receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing programs with 3pl Warehouse
    • Work with 3PL to organize rolling stock checks quarterly and provide accurate stock records in different locations including 3PL and retailer POS
  • Product Assembly Management
    • Work with global and local product team to design and execute the local assembly plan to meet the business needs under bold time commitments.
    • Manage the details to ensure first issue resolution and customer satisfaction for retailers and consumers.
  • Data/Report System
    • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow
    • POS system data management to ensure the information consistence cross ERP, POS and department stores system.
    • Build readable and logic Database &Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly; 
  • Function Related IT System Management
    • Fully responsible for the China IT system building including some key systems such as POS system, warehouse and logistics management system, finance system and CRM system, but not limited to these.
    • Clear identify the whole process of system building up such as the IT system needs analysis, finding the system agency, test system and training for the relevant users.
    • Closely cooperation with China function team to identify their business needs, looking for their suggestion and feedback for smooth development.
    • Closely work with US team and the agency from US to get alignment with them.
    • Consistently improve the system based on the increasing needs from consumers.  
       
  • Skills / Experience Required:
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • At least 10 years’ experience in a supply chain or logistics role within a detailed level understanding of supply chain, production, warehousing and distribution processes. International working experience is a must
    • Strong people management experience and leadership skills with a vision to inspire and influence those around you
    • Deep understanding of the various cost drivers within the Supply Chain
    • Strong change management perspective to manage processes and build up and review as well as implementations
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English
    • Ambition to drive and create successful results
    • Ability to combine operational functionality and strategic thinking
    • Entrepreneurial thinking and self-initiative way of working
