1. Define and execute comprehensive global GTM strategies for focus applications, including market segmentation, competitive positioning, and customer targeting across China, Europe, and the US.
2. Identify and prioritize high-growth white spaces by analyzing technology roadmaps, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics in the EV and energy storage value chains.
3. Lead cross-functional business development initiatives in close collaboration with Regional Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Technology teams to secure technical specifications at engineering lead levels.
4. Translate deep Voice of Customer insights into concrete NPI proposals and application-specific technology roadmaps for global R&D.
5. Build and nurture strategic partnerships with Tier 1 OEMs, Tier 2 module suppliers, and key technology innovators to drive platform-level adoption and design longevity.
6. Align global messaging, application priorities, and product positioning with Marketing to ensure consistent market communication.
7. Support business case development, pricing strategy, and product specification alignment with customer requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. 20+ years in Business Development, Product Management, or Key Account Leadership within EV charging systems, onboard power electronics (OBC/DCDC), high-voltage electrical distribution, or semiconductor/passive component sectors.
3. Strong understanding of power architecture in DC fast chargers, hybrid/BEV onboard chargers, and stationary storage systems.
4. Proven track record of developing and executing GTM strategies that resulted in measurable revenue growth; experience managing price competition, especially in Asia, through value-based selling and technical differentiation.
5. Ability to influence without authority and lead initiatives across R&D, Sales, Product Management, and external channel partners.
6. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills, with fluency in English and Chinese.
