Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Execute target mining, target validation, and program initiation based on robust tumor biology and clinical insights to fulfill BeiGene drug discovery goals
- Support oncology drug discovery programs, including but not limited to small molecule drugs or antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)
- Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists, biologists and in vivo pharmacologists to speed up the drug discovery process
- Identify novel technologies and strategies to progress the portfolio
- Be able to do trouble shooting and address key issues of the programs
Qualifications:
- PhD in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology or related fields with 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience
- 2+ years of project leadership/management experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry
- Strong scientific background with proven track record in tumor biology
- Prior work in ADCs is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scientific innovation and excellence
- Capability to manage multi-tasks and multi-projects with efficiency
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment
