Job Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Develop, implement, and oversee the department's annual budget, staffing plan, and operational roadmap, ensuring full alignment with corporate strategy and optimal resource allocation.

  2. Financial Performance Management: Partner closely with the Plant Controlling team to establish robust budget monitoring mechanisms. Track performance against targets, identify and analyze variances, and propose effective corrective actions to ensure financial objectives are met.

  3. Quality & Process Improvement: Collaborate with the QA department to conduct in-depth analyses of production failures, scrap causes, and non-conformities. Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce scrap rates and strengthen quality control processes, ensuring all production operators strictly adhere to quality policies and standards.

  4. Team Development & Training: Design, deliver, and oversee targeted training programs to elevate the team's professional expertise, technical capabilities, and operational know-how. Foster a high-performance culture to ensure the team delivers competitive, customer-centric services.

  5. Performance Management & Coaching: Lead the performance evaluation, coaching, and development of production team members. Champion innovation and continuous improvement in production processes, providing the necessary support and guidance for team members to achieve both individual and departmental goals.

  6. KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor key production KPIs, including efficiency, process quality, absenteeism, and safety compliance. Compile periodic performance reports and present actionable insights and recommendations to the Operations Leadership Team.

  7. Engineering Change Management: Coordinate the seamless implementation of engineering changes for ongoing production processes, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules, product quality, and operational efficiency.

  8. Capacity Planning & Optimization: Proactively monitor production capacity against customer demand forecasts to identify potential gaps or surpluses. Initiate timely, data-driven actions to optimize capacity utilization and consistently meet customer delivery commitments.

  9. New Product Introduction (NPI): Serve as the NPI Coordinator, collaborating cross-functionally with the New Product Launch Team and Design Department. Develop launch plans, resolve implementation challenges, and ensure the smooth, safe, and successful introduction of new products.

  10. EHS Compliance & Leadership: Take full ownership of ensuring compliance with all EHS regulations and standards. Act as the key liaison to internal stakeholders, providing accurate EHS information and championing EHS best practices throughout the production department.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum 10 years of operational experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in machining, precision manufacturing, or process engineering.

  2. Proven experience working within a multinational corporation and collaborating effectively with cross-cultural, cross-functional teams.

  3. Deep familiarity with ISO 9000 and TS16949 quality management systems, including hands-on experience implementing and maintaining these standards in a production environment.

  4. Solid experience in assembly processes, combined with proficiency in CNC and other precision machining technologies and operations.

  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive results in a dynamic environment.

  6. Strong leadership capabilities, including team coaching, analytical thinking, and consulting skills, with a proven ability to inspire teams and drive continuous improvement.

  7. Highly self-disciplined, results-oriented, and customer-focused, with an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.

  8. Demonstrated aptitude for analyzing complex business needs, identifying optimization opportunities, and deploying effective solutions to drive operational excellence.

  9. Sound understanding of financial statements, KPI management, budgeting principles, and cost control, with experience leveraging these tools to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional, global business environment.
