Process Manager

Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to support and lead technical activities related to new product development and technical transfer projects, ensuring smooth collaboration with stakeholders. Key objectives include establishing new methods, providing technical support during validation activities, and ensuring timely and complete product launches—particularly focusing on regional FMCG items. Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and product quality, maintaining accurate documentation, and systematically troubleshooting technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D formulators to execute pilot and plant trials, assist with product registration, and establish scalable manufacturing methodologies through structured testing.
• Ensure the timely launch of new products.
• Serve as a technical liaison, facilitating effective communication between R&D and Supply Chain teams.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Supply Chain, to diagnose and resolve technical challenges in production.
• Foster ongoing innovation by developing technical solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and minimize waste.
• Regular travel to collaborate with production teams across the APAC region.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Bioengineering, Polymer Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5+ years of experience in the FMCG industries
• Preferably, a background in process development, scale-up, or technical transfer within an FMCG environment.
• Fluency in Japanese
