With a focus on quality and innovation, the company is expanding its operations and is seeking a talented Raw Materials Senior Procurement Manager to join their team.

Job Overview

The Raw Materials Procurement Manager will take end-to-end ownership of raw materials categories, including strategy development, supplier management, and cost optimization. This role requires a deep market knowledge and proactive approach to drive savings projects and ensure supply chain continuity while fostering strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Expertise: Lead the development of procurement strategies for raw materials, aiming for competitive cost positions and a strong cash flow.
• Procurement Tactics: Execute negotiations, competitive bidding, e-Auctions, and other tactics in line with category strategies.
• Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, supply base shifts, and competitor activities through external networks and the internal Market Insights team.
• Savings Projects: Initiate and drive savings projects, consistently meeting or exceeding targets for cost reduction and efficiency.
• Supplier Management: Focus on achieving the best commercial, quality, and service terms with suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
• Supplier Diversification: Identify and introduce alternative suppliers to reduce single-source dependency and enhance cost efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive raw material innovations and new product launches.
• Supply Security: Ensure material coverage and collaborate with procurement and planning teams to maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years in procurement, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in procurement management for food ingredients with reputable companies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong appetite for challenging the status quo and driving improvements.
• Integrity: High degree of professionalism and integrity in all dealings.
• Communication: Strong negotiation and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Travel: Willingness to travel domestically as required.
