Background and Purpose of the Role:
- My client is a specialized logistics company headquartered in Switzerland, with offices in Asia, the USA, Brazil and Germany. and they are now looking for a proven Supply Chain Analyst to be part of our exciting journey.
- For this role they are looking for an individual to focus on further improving our Supply Chain Solution customers’ experience with company and help to implement and manage a global key account.
- The candidate will be a part of offering an unrivalled package of services, a global network and market leading supply chain systems – as well as first class customer based and highly passionate teams around the globe.
- The right candidate is expected to collaborate seamlessly with other departments and further develop company’s strong brand when engaging with customers, suppliers, and partners.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Analyze real-time supply chain data (e.g., shipment status, port delays, customs clearance) to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Generate reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI to support control tower operations.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, cost per shipment) across Asian countries for performance tracking.
- Collaborate with regional control tower & freight operations teams to align data insights with local execution.
- Identify risks (e.g., geopolitical disruptions, port congestion) through predictive analytics and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide actionable recommendations to optimize carrier selection, routing, and inventory flow.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 3+ years in data analysis, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in data tools (Power BI, SQL, Excel); familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) a plus.
- Strong understanding of Asia logistics (order management, ports, customs, carriers).
- Fluent in English; good at Mandarin.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments supporting multiple time zones.
