About the Job
Strategic Leadership & Corporate Management
- Serve as Founder, Chairman, and the ultimate strategic leader responsible for defining the company's long-term vision, business model, and growth roadmap.
- Lead corporate governance and board management while establishing a world-class executive leadership team, including key functions such as CEO, COO, Head of Wet Lab, Platform Engineering, and Business Development.
- Drive company-wide strategic planning, operational excellence, and organizational scaling from early-stage venture to globally recognized biotech platform.
- Lead future fundraising activities and capital market initiatives in partnership with top-tier technology and healthcare investors.
- Represent the company in strategic partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, research hospitals, cloud computing providers, and AI ecosystem partners.
Scientific & Technology Leadership
- Define and lead the next generation of AI methodologies for large-molecule drug discovery, including antibody engineering, multi-specific biologics, viral vector design, gene-editing systems, and cell therapy technologies.
- Architect proprietary AI platforms leveraging state-of-the-art technologies such as Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models, Protein Language Models (PLMs), geometric deep learning, generative AI, reinforcement learning, and advanced reasoning architectures.
- Direct the design and evolution of scalable distributed training infrastructure capable of handling massive biological datasets and foundation model training.
- Personally lead critical technical initiatives involving algorithm development, model optimization, molecular generation, protein engineering, and computational platform innovation.
Dry-Lab / Wet-Lab Integration
- Establish a fully integrated “Design–Build–Test–Learn” loop that seamlessly connects computational prediction with high-throughput automated experimentation.
- Design closed-loop data generation systems enabling continuous model refinement through experimental feedback and active learning frameworks.
- Build a highly efficient collaboration model between AI scientists, computational biologists, protein engineers, and experimental biology teams.
Intellectual Property & Innovation
- Lead global intellectual property strategy covering proprietary algorithms, foundation models, platform technologies, and therapeutic candidates.
- Establish and protect a differentiated technology moat through patents, trade secrets, proprietary datasets, and unique model architectures.
- Drive scientific thought leadership through publications, conference presentations, and strategic industry engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Structural Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
- Recognized industry authority with deep expertise in protein foundation models, antibody design, protein engineering, AI-enabled drug discovery, or large-scale AI infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success developing and applying advanced AI technologies to biologics discovery programs with tangible translational outcomes.
- Proven track record advancing one or more therapeutic programs to Preclinical Candidate (PCC), IND-enabling studies, clinical development, or equivalent milestones.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, and large-scale distributed computing environments.
- Extensive familiarity with state-of-the-art computational biology platforms and tools, including AlphaFold-related ecosystems, ProteinMPNN, DiffAb, generative protein design frameworks, and structural biology technologies.
- Deep understanding of antibody discovery, biologics engineering, gene and cell therapy technologies, or viral vector development.
- Exceptional leadership capability with experience building and managing multidisciplinary teams spanning AI, computational biology, wet-lab research, platform engineering, and business functions.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with venture investors, pharmaceutical executives, scientific advisors, and research teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong resilience, strategic vision, and the ability to thrive in a highly ambitious, fast-paced startup environment.
- Prior founder, co-founder, CEO, CTO, CSO, or equivalent executive experience in biotechnology, AI drug discovery, or deep-tech ventures is highly preferred.
