Purpose of the Position
The Commercial Strategy Analyst supports data-driven business decisions by transforming complex commercial data into actionable insights. The position plays a key role in developing and optimizing strategies in pricing, sales, and marketing. By leveraging advanced analytics and AI tools, the role enhances business forecasting, performance monitoring, and strategic planning across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and refine dashboards in Power BI and other systems to monitor pricing, sales metrics, and other performance indicators.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide recommendations for pricing, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Leverage AI tools and methodologies to enhance business analysis, predictive insights, and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and customize dashboards and analytical solutions accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports using Excel and PowerPoint for a variety of stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data visualization, reporting processes, and the use of AI-driven analytics.
- Support daily price request analysis and develop automation and controls for pricing processes.
- Support the development and execution of sales, marketing, and pricing strategies with actionable, data-driven insights.
- Work in accordance with company values, HR and HS&E policies, instructions, minimum requirements, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5–10 years relevant marketing experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar analytical role, ideally within a consulting or data-driven business environment, or within a large multinational company.
- Experience working cross-functionally in international or matrix organizations preferred.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with AI tools and modern analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency to communicate clearly and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, data-intensive environment with multiple, sometimes conflicting inputs.
- Ability to influence decisions across business areas, balancing competing priorities and perspectives.
- Ability to synthesize technical, analytical, and business knowledge to interpret complex and often incomplete information.
- Self-starter who does not wait for guidance on every action.
- Ability and flexibility to work with multiple functions.
- Deep functional ownership and accountability within the assigned area of responsibility.
