Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial business leader to lead its Cosmetics Packaging Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, commercial excellence, operational performance, and strategic customer engagement across the beauty and personal care packaging sector.

This role is ideal for a senior executive from a leading global cosmetics packaging company with a proven track record of managing large-scale operations, developing key customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Strategy

• Define and execute the overall business strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
• Lead the full P&L of the Cosmetics Packaging Business Unit.
• Develop short-term and long-term growth plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities across skincare, makeup, fragrance, personal care, and prestige beauty segments.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to drive innovation and business expansion.

Commercial Excellence

• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with leading global and regional beauty brands.
• Lead strategic customer acquisition and account management initiatives.
• Drive business development efforts to secure new programs and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with customers on packaging innovation, sustainability initiatives, and product commercialization.
• Negotiate major commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.

Operations & Performance Management

• Ensure operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and quality functions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor business effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.

Innovation & Product Development

• Partner with R&D and innovation teams to develop industry-leading packaging solutions.
• Drive sustainable packaging strategies focusing on recyclability, refillability, and material reduction.
• Anticipate future trends in beauty packaging and align product roadmaps accordingly.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing leadership team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
• Mentor and develop future leaders within the organization.

Qualifications

Experience

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in cosmetics packaging, beauty packaging, personal care packaging, or related industries.
• Minimum 8 years in senior leadership roles with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven experience working with leading global beauty brands such as L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, Shiseido, Coty, Unilever, P&G, Chanel, Dior, or similar.
• Strong understanding of packaging technologies including pumps, dispensers, compacts, closures, tubes, jars, bottles, and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Experience managing international teams and cross-regional business operations.
