Key Summary: The Group Health & Safety Manager supports the development, coordination, and implementation of the global Health & Safety (HS) strategy. This role provides expertise and coordination across regions to ensure consistency and effectiveness of HS standards and processes. It collaborates closely with regional HS teams, enabling alignment and driving continuous improvement without direct operational responsibility for HS performance.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Group HS strategy in alignment with the sustainability roadmap.
- Develop global HS standards and processes, ensuring clarity and alignment across regions.
- Promote a leadership and proactive risk prevention culture.
- Coordinate collection and analysis of HS data and communication.
- Support benchmarking and internal best-practice sharing.
- Assist in maintaining HS management systems and monitor
- Manage HS-related communication and sustainability reporting.
- Evaluate emerging health & safety technologies and lead pilot projects for global implementation.
- Support the Group HS Lead in incident analysis and follow-up actions.
- Consolidate and prepare reports on global HS performance.
- Monitor progress of HS programs and promote simplification of tools and processes.
**Qualifications:**
- University degree in engineering or a scientific field (additional Health & Safety qualification preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of industrial experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of HS management systems and global regulations.
- Experience in multicultural or global environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization platforms.
- Analytical and structured working style with project management capabilities.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
