Regional Head of Quality & Supplier Excellence, Asia

Our Client

Our client is a leading international home improvement and lifestyle retail group with an established global presence and an extensive supplier network across Asia.

As part of its ongoing business transformation, the group is strengthening its Asia-based leadership capabilities to build a more integrated, agile and future-ready sourcing and quality organization.

We are seeking an experienced quality leader to shape the regional quality function, develop high-performing teams and strengthen collaboration between Asian operations and international headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Quality Leadership

• Lead and develop the regional quality organization, establishing clear structures, responsibilities and operating processes.

• Build a proactive, prevention-oriented quality management approach across the supplier network.

• Strengthen quality governance, performance management and continuous improvement across different product categories.

• Develop the capabilities of local quality teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Supplier Quality & Operational Excellence

• Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with sourcing, product development and manufacturing partners.

• Establish consistent quality standards and support effective implementation across the regional supplier base.

• Identify quality risks early and work cross-functionally to develop preventive and corrective measures.

• Support supplier capability development and long-term quality performance.

International Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key bridge between regional quality teams and international headquarters.

• Translate global quality expectations into effective local execution.

• Partner with sourcing, product development and other business functions to align quality priorities with commercial objectives.

• Navigate complex cross-cultural environments and build trusted relationships across geographically dispersed teams.

Organization & Transformation

• Support the evolution of the regional operating model as the business expands and diversifies its Asian sourcing footprint.

• Build an agile and resilient quality organization capable of adapting to changing market and supply chain conditions.

• Lead organizational improvements while maintaining strong employee engagement and team stability.

Candidate Profile

• Substantial experience in quality management, supplier quality or sourcing quality, with proven leadership responsibility.

• Background in international retail, consumer goods, home improvement, manufacturing or global sourcing organizations.

• Experience leading and developing quality teams in China or across Asia.

• Strong exposure to international headquarters and multicultural working environments.

• Ability to establish organizational structures, improve processes and lead teams through change.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

• Fluent English and Chinese.

Experience in DIY, home improvement or related product categories is advantageous but not mandatory.
