I. Job Summary
The US HR Manager/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing various human resources functions within the US operations of the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with US employment laws and regulations, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and providing support and guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters.

4. Manage and resolve workplace complaints and investigations in a timely and confidential manner.

This role involves ensuring compliance with US employment laws and regulations, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and providing support and guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters.
II. Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment and Staffing
- determine staffing needs and develop job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions, ensuring a diverse and qualified applicant pool.
- Coordinate the hiring process, including reference checks, background investigations, and making job offers.
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
B. Employee Relations
1. Handle employee relations issues, such as conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
2. Provide coaching and counseling to employees and managers to improve work relationships and performance.
3. Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives.
4. Manage and resolve workplace complaints and investigations in a timely and confidential manner.
C. Performance Management
- Develop and implement performance management systems and processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide training and guidance to managers on conducting effective performance reviews and performance improvement plans.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
D. Training and Development
- Identify training needs and develop training programs and materials to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Promote employee career development and succession planning.
E. Compensation and Benefits
- manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, bonus plans, and health insurance.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure the company's compensation and benefits are competitive.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on compensation and benefits-related questions.
F. HR Compliance
- Stay updated on US federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to reflect legal requirements and best practices.
G. HR Administration
- Manage HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with payroll company and other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data.
III. Qualifications
A. Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
B. Experience
- At least 3+ years of HR experience in US with comprehensive HR role.
- Experience in HR planning and management, in the field of US employment laws and regulations.
- Work experience in the industries of logistic, supply chain, e-commerce, air flight is plus.
C. Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
- Master in English and Chinese.
IV. Working Conditions
- This position is typically based in an office environment but may require occasional travel to other locations in other states.
- The workweek is generally Monday through Friday, but may require additional hours during peak periods, connect with the China HQ or to address urgent HR issues.
