Role purpose

The Assistant Logistics Manager is focus on transportation management and supports logistics manager to tracking and monitor 3PLs performance to deliver on time delivery service to our customers in structure and efficient approach. This role also will work closely with sales, customer and 3PL/4PL to implement process with compliance and able to identify key control points and operational exceptions through daily management. And need to investigate and resolve issues that may arise during process.

· Communicate with customer service team closely to arrange on time delivery to our customers

· Effective to manage 3PL, 4PL to ensure delivery performance to our customers

· Ensure Follow through OTC process meet compliance requirement

· Reporting and analysis on performance of logistics operation including on time, POD collection, Exceptions and spending

Role accountabilities

Relationship Management

· Build and keep good working relationships with key internal stakeholders across Sales , Operation(planning, and customer service etc.) ,commercial team

· Build and keep good working relationships with 3rd party Logistics service provider

· Functional accountabilities and responsibilities

· Working with logistics manager to monitor/improve logistics process and working on team KPI report (Such as quality control, OTC Lead time, POD collection, etc.) and investigating issues in the process for exceptions

· Monitor on time picking/packing to drive for customer order be handed over to truck company safely and timely

· Generating daily open delivery tracking report and ensure shipments arrived are on time and safety under well control

· Ensure POD process strictly follow up and manage on-time and effective POD collection

· Monthly account checking and billing application

· Monthly report on time submitting and monthly/quarterly review meeting conducting

· Monthly report on time submitting

· SAP operation supporting

Process Improvement and Optimisation

· Detect improvement opportunity in logistics process and supporting improvement solutions and implementation.

Qualification and experience

· Tertiary Degree in Logistics or supply chain

· Minimum 5 years experience working for a global organisation with logistics operations

· Proven success in transportation optimization related position

· Ability to work collaboratively and build internal and external relationships that recognize the interdependence of functional areas

· Be able to work under pressure to adapt varied and ambiguous working environment

· Rich experience of China Logistics with insight cognition on transportation market and resource

· Analytical thinking ability, able to deal with complex problems and solutions

· Organizational skills with a logical/methodical approach

· Ability to understand and follow policies/process/ procedures accurately in accordance with organization standards

· Good background and experience using SAP.

· Strong Excel skills

· 5+ years’ experience within exposure to multiple dimensions of supply chain and logistics
