Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for ceramic products, ensuring achievement of production, quality, delivery, productivity, safety and cost targets.
- Own plant performance and cost management, including production planning, budgeting, KPI/OEE management, asset utilization and continuous cost optimization.
- Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, improving yield, cycle time, productivity and operating costs through Kaizen, waste reduction and process optimization.
- Provide strong ceramic technology expertise, with hands-on knowledge of slip/glaze formulation, casting, drying, glazing, firing, kiln operations, defect analysis and process optimization.
- Lead NPD and quality management, ensuring smooth product industrialization from development to mass production, product compliance, quality improvement and effective CAPA.
- Build and lead a high-performing operations organization, developing talent and a culture of accountability and meritocracy, while closely coordinating with German HQ and local functions.
- Engineering/manufacturing degree with 10+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in management with cost-center responsibility.
- Strong expertise in ceramic manufacturing, production equipment and quality systems, ideally with ISO 9001, Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work effectively with German HQ and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent Chinese and English; hands-on experience in ceramic products/manufacturing is essential
