Job Summary:

As a Head of Talent Acquisition, you are a dynamic, self-starter that will lead and execute recruiting and employee integration strategy across all School Campuses located all across China. Functionally reporting into the Chief Talent Officer, you will provide strategic and tactical leadership to your team of Corporate Talent Acquisition Professionals responsible for employer brand communication, channeling, internal and external pipelining, while ensuring that candidate experience is optimal up to the point of job offer and appointment.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a full-cycle recruitment strategy up to job offer that is integrated and impactful before handing over processing to local HRD
  • Define measure(s) of success by determining the key data and metrics that will be tracked for all Corporate Talent Professionals
  • Evaluate and translate data and relevant market intelligence to provide actual and predictive analysis of recruitment successes and challenges
  • Own the end to end employer brand communication process, including monitoring of, and refinement of the said process
  • Channeling and resourcing strategy design, implementation and monitoring
  • Lean into business acumen and consulting skills to provide proactive, agile, and strategic guidance to leaders of diverse business units

 

To be successful in this role, you need to:

  • Have 8 years of strong recruiting, recruitment management or consulting experience with 5 years people management experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and execute recruitment strategies and maintaining stakeholder buy-in in a human capital intensive industry
  • Be professionally fluent in spoken and written English and Putonghua, and written Chinese (preferable)
  • Have deep experience with end-to-end recruitment process, including demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research, cold calling and pipelining
  • Lead-by-example with professionalism, focus, and urgency in an environment of ambiguity and fast-changing requirements
  • Possess strong and proactive problem solving skills that are driven by data, business acumen and solution-oriented mindset
  • Be able to continuously drive for process improvement – acting as a self-starter and change agent with a high sense of accountability
  • Demonstrate proven skills in relationship building; relationship management; and customer service – with the ability to work well independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrate confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with school leaders/partners with a proven ability to influence stakeholders to drive organizational targets and results
  • Able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands
