Position Summary
The Plant General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the manufacturing site, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost and people development.
This role will serve as the operational leader of the facility, driving business performance while building a high-performing and engaged organization.
The successful candidate will combine strong operational expertise with mature leadership capability and a hands-on management style.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Lead all manufacturing operations and ensure stable plant performance
- Deliver production, quality and customer service targets
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure efficient utilization of equipment, labor and resources
Cost & Performance Management
- Manage plant financial performance and operating budgets
- Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization programs
- Improve manufacturing efficiency and operational KPIs
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Promote a strong EHS culture across the site
- Drive quality improvement and risk management initiatives
Organization & Talent Development
- Lead and develop a manufacturing organization of approximately 200 employees
- Build leadership capability within the management team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
Strategic Execution
- Translate business objectives into operational plans
- Support long-term site development and capability building
- Partner with regional leadership on growth and transformation initiatives
Qualifications
Experience
- Proven experience as Plant Manager, Factory Manager, Site Leader, Operations Director or equivalent
- Strong manufacturing leadership experience within multinational companies
- Experience managing large manufacturing teams (100+ employees preferred)
- Demonstrated success in driving operational improvement and organizational performance

- Excellent operational, quality and cost management capability
- Strategic mindset with strong execution ability
- Data-driven decision-making approach
- Fluent English communication skills
