Product Development Engineer

Your Responsibilities    
•    Responsible for JDE system operation, Responsible for supervising the preparation of raw materials on site.
•    Responsible for product development planning and product design, determining product development direction and R&D plan according to market demand and company strategy;
•    Analyze the market environment and competitors, evaluate the market potential and competitive advantages of products, and provide suggestions for improving product design and marketing strategies;
•    Communicate and coordinate customer needs and product indicators, test and evaluate products to ensure product quality meets requirements;
•    Collect customer feedback and market intelligence, constantly improve product design and marketing strategies, and enhance the competitiveness of products in the market;
•    Support the production operations team to develop new sweetener production process, put forward suggestions for improvement and innovation, and promote product development and market expansion;
•    Propose and implement cost saving/efficiency improving initiatives.
•    Work closely with global technology COE to implement new projects and get the technical resources, ensure coordination with production, quality and other departments to ensure the production and delivery of products to meet customer needs;
•    Pursue the sweetener market trends and new production technologies.
Your Profile
•    University degree on food science, or business focus or marketing development or equivalent experience
•    At least 5+ years market development experience in food ingredients industry
•    Working experience in MNC is valued
•    Experience in sweetener industry is valued
•    Experience in serving customers in beverage and confectionery industries is valued
•    Fluency in written & oral English
•    Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
•    Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with open minded approach
