This person should be down-to earth and hands-on style. He/She will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Travel may be required for supplier visits, industry conferences, and other business-related activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent the SCM function and contribute beyond that for the performance of the Area / Country
  • Establish effective performance management system with regards to supplier performance
  • Manage effectiveness and efficiency of S&OP processes relating to customer service and logistics roles
  • Closely liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to establish relationship and meet defined requirement
  • Ensure that all order processing is done timely within defined lead-times and completed for the day
  • Attend, resolve & monitor customers complaints in collaboration with stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Ensure logistics service are provided on time and at optimal cost. Ensure communication to all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, service providers, etc) is timely and accurate
  • Regularly review distribution / logistics / warehouse network and identify optimization potential
  • Closely liaise with stakeholders to understand needs for locally procured services and goods
  • Understand cost drivers and market dynamics and apply appropriate method for sourcing (RFQ, tendering, etc) for external and internal suppliers
  • Ensure adequate local input for regional and global procurement activities
 
Requirements
  • Must be bachelor degree at least.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, i.e. customer service, logistics, warehousing and procurement or relevant work experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations and achieving cost savings.
  • Multi National Company experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • High degree of focus towards cost efficiency and effectiveness
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business processes
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Strong leadership and operational management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills across different cultures
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with ERP systems, SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent command of both oral and written English
