Responsibilities:
Business Development Leadership: Lead, organize, and drive business development efforts within the electronics industry in China. Develop and implement strategies with various electronics brand owners across key market segments, including appliances, small electric appliances, industrial electronics, and consumer electronics.
Collaborative Technical Solutions: Collaborate closely with the Product Application Development and Application Development & Technical Services teams to create tailored technical solutions. Manage all aspects of business development, including resolving technical qualifications, pricing strategies, and other critical factors across different electronics markets.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term business relationships with electronics brand owners and manufacturing partners. Gain a deep understanding of their operations and provide timely, relevant services to support their business objectives.
Regional Support: Travel and provide support for electronics application development projects across China, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and the company's Code of Conduct across all business activities.
Requirements:
Education: University bachelor’s degree in engineering (Polymer Science preferred); a Master's degree in technology or an MBA is a plus.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the electronics industry with a strong commercial and technical background. Experience in the engineering material compounds industry is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the electronics market, products, and associated processing technologies. A strong understanding of plastics and engineering material compounds is required.
Preferred Background: A background in the chemical or polymer industry is highly desirable.
