Summary:You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our inventory management, with a focus on efficiency, compliance, you’ll spearhead efforts to optimize S&OP process, enhance Open to buy process, strengthen the inventory reporting related collaboration with sales channels, and mitigate risks across the inventory within supply chain structure.
  • Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to ensure inventory levels are within reasonable range to meet sales demands while minimizing overstock and stock-out risks.
  • Analyze sales trends, seasonal variations, and market demands to optimize inventory management, ensuring timely supply and smooth sales of products.
  • Align with global OMNI planning expectation, to enhance the inventory planning function and achieve inventory goal at China region.
  • Elevate the communication efficiency with cross functions, convert more effectively corporate forecast and SRI walkthrough in between regional plan and global goal. -
  • improve the S&OP process at China region, define the sustainable forecast projection and build the convincing position to drive the consensus with cross commercial channels (WS; Retail; Ecom)
  • Establish the solid Open To Buy logic process, support the future buy simulation, therefore to rationalize the seasonable buy with respective channel with maximized balance in between buy/sales.
  • Monitor inventory level, analyze stock movements and identify opportunities to optimize the inventory holding costs.
  • Minimize the stockouts and excess inventory. Develop the inventory report in various structure, define the inventory liquidation plan, and track the execution timeline effectively with liquidation channel.
  • Deep analyze the supply chain cost along the whole supply chain flow, manage the supply chain operational budget and lead the supply chain cost QBR meeting, and be able advice the improvement opportunity.
  • Responsible for China inventory management team, a team of 2 members, to develop their individual capabilities in line with corporate business goals.
  • Overseas output from the team, providing the support to team growth, ensure the challenges are resolved timely and quickly.
  • Be part of global inventory planning team member, present the China inventory performance / report through solid data analysis.
    Over 8+ years’ experience on inventory planning or inventory management experience and at least 3 years people management role. 
    Leading S&OP process is a must, advanced presentation skill is more appreciable. 、
    Strong communication capability on both English and Chinese. 
    Strong analytical skills, logical thinking and data sensible, is a great team player. 
    Passionate about the process improvement, analysis and learning new skills. 
    Experienced in business partnership and influential skills. 
    Familiar with power BI is a plus.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to develop procurement plans based on sales forecasts and inventory targets, maintaining adequate inventory levels while reducing stockpiling.
  • Regularly review and adjust inventory strategies to respond to market changes, new product launches, and other influencing factors, ensuring flexibility and agility in inventory operations.
  • Analyze inventory efficiency and capital utilization, propose improvement suggestions, and optimize inventory turnover and capital returns.
  • Monitor and manage inventory health, identify and address overstock or understock issues in a timely manner, and provide effective solutions.
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration among internal departments (such as sales, marketing, logistics, etc.) to ensure alignment between inventory planning and overall business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in any field, with preference for relevant disciplines such as supply chain management, logistics management, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory planning or related roles in the retail industry, with preference for candidates with experience in large retail enterprises.
  • Familiarity with inventory planning tools and systems, strong data analysis skills, and logical thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, capable of effectively coordinating work among various departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, capable of working efficiently under pressure and achieving good results.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and business processes in the retail industry, able to quickly adapt to and address industry changes.
