Job Title: Production Manager
Report to: Operations Manager
Team Size: 1000~2000
Position Purpose
Oversee production operations to meet cost, quality, and service targets while ensuring full compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and lead continuous improvement efforts across the production team.

Oversee production operations to meet cost, quality, and service targets while ensuring full compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and lead continuous improvement efforts across the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of operating plans aligned with broader manufacturing and business strategies.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing performance, capability, and capacity utilization.
- Foster a safe work environment and ensure adherence to all EHS regulations and company policies.
- Lead, organize, and motivate the production team to achieve operational excellence.
- Implement lean production methods to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Develop talent and build capability within the production workforce.
- Champion corporate manufacturing programs and initiatives.
- Ensure shop floor compliance with SOPs, EHS standards, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in optical, electronic, telecom, mechanical, or related manufacturing environments.
- At least 3 years of management experience, including supervisory roles in operations or engineering.
- Proven track record in leading teams to achieve continuous improvement, innovation, and performance breakthroughs.
- Experience collaborating across functions (e.g., Quality, Supply Chain, Applications Engineering).
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and grow team members.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001).
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Change management expertise and results-driven mindset.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience in cable assembly manufacturing.
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of DMAIC and industrial engineering (IE) techniques
