Job Title: Regional Sales General Manager (Bakery Ingredients)
Location: Beijing
Reports to: National Sales GM
Position Overview
Lead the sales operations for the company’s Bakery Ingredient products across Northeast China (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning), Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH), Inner Mongolia, and Shandong etc. Develop and execute regional market strategies, managing a 30-member commercial team, and drive revenue growth by optimizing channel mix (KA/RKA/distributors). Focus on penetrating key accounts, enhancing distributor networks, and delivering market share expansion.

Lead the sales operations for the company’s Bakery Ingredient products across Northeast China (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning), Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH), Inner Mongolia, and Shandong etc. Develop and execute regional market strategies, managing a 30-member commercial team, and drive revenue growth by optimizing channel mix (KA/RKA/distributors). Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Formulate annual regional sales targets, market strategies, and RTM (Route to Market) plans to optimize channel efficiency and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to design data-driven growth strategies.
- Key Account & Channel Management
- Lead strategic negotiations with Key Accounts (KA) and Regional Key Accounts (RKA), including large-scale food processors, chain catering groups, and industrial clients.
- Strengthen distributor partnerships through network optimization, performance evaluation, and capability-building programs.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage a 30-people sales team (including Key Account Managers, Channel Managers, etc.), set clear KPIs, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and strategy reviews to ensure execution alignment.
- Experience
- 15+ years B2B Food Ingredients sales, with 8+ years in regional leadership roles.
- Proven success in flour, edible oils, or food ingredient sectors; deep knowledge of Northern China’s distribution landscape.
- Core Competencies
- Strategic Agility: Ability to translate market insights into actionable plans and drive sustainable growth.
- Channel Expertise: Mastery in managing KA/RKA clients and scaling distributor networks (experience balancing KA/distributor revenue mix is a plus).
- Leadership: Track record of leading large teams to exceed targets in competitive markets.
- Additional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics platforms.
- Willingness to travel frequently across assigned regions.
