Job Responsibilities
- Client Development Drive business expansion with pharmaceutical enterprises and academic institutions across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as selected universities in Europe and the US. Develop customized commercial proposals and deliver tailored technical solutions aligned with distinct client requirements.
- Sales Target Delivery Independently own and achieve assigned regional sales KPIs for the Asia-Pacific territory, covering the promotion and deal closure of lab instruments, automated workflow solutions and chemical analytical services.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Maintain close communication with internal product and R&D teams to accurately translate client technical demands and drive iterative optimization of technical proposals. Support the Marketing team in organizing regional product roadshows and academic exchange events.
- Market Intelligence Analysis Monitor market trends, regulatory policies and competitor landscapes within the Asia-Pacific market. Compile regular market analysis reports to support the company’s regional strategic decision-making.
- Account Relationship Management Build long-term, stable partnerships with key accounts. Track end-to-end project execution progress, resolve post-sales inquiries and feedback, and continuously boost customer satisfaction, retention and repeat business rates.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience with proven track record serving overseas clients in lab instrumentation, third-party chemical testing services or pharmaceutical industries. In-depth market knowledge of Asia-Pacific markets (South Korea, Japan, Singapore preferred).
- Fluent English as daily working language; capable of independently conducting commercial negotiations, drafting formal contracts and presenting technical solution demos to clients.
- Solid foundational knowledge in chemistry, material science or pharmaceutical R&D. Able to interpret complex client technical requirements and convert them into viable commercial solutions; well-versed in the sales cycle of laboratory equipment and scientific research services.
- Familiar with research cooperation frameworks between Asia-Pacific universities and industrial entities. Prior collaboration experience with overseas universities or research institutes is a strong plus.
